Selection

A Selection Committee made up of Leadership Spartanburg Alumni is responsible for selecting participants for the Junior Leadership program. Selection of the Junior Leadership Spartanburg class takes place in October of each year.

Each school nominates twice as many students as will be selected from each school. We seek a mixture of students from various segments, groups, clubs and cliques within the schools who are existing leaders within those segments or who have demonstrated leadership abilities.
