Spartanburg County Schools
Spartanburg County is home to seven public school districts
comprised of more than 44,000 students. It has more than 39
elementary schools, 15 middle or junior high schools, nine
high schools, and four career centers or vocational schools.
Many fully accredited private and parochial schools also are
located in Spartanburg.
You could say Spartanburg’s school
districts and private schools are experiencing a building
boom. There are many new schools being built, or recently
completed, located throughout the county.
