Diversity – The Diversity Committee, as an integral part of the Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce, provides a forum for sharing vital information, networking, and fostering professional development for minority and women businesses. It is our mission to help minority and women-owned businesses grow, develop and encourage their participation in all chamber activities. Ambassadors – The Spartanburg Chamber Ambassadors exist to identify economic development opportunities within existing businesses in our community. With this information, the Chamber and the Economic Futures Group can allocate the appropriate resources necessary to retain these businesses in our community and/or facilitate their growth. Each month, volunteer ambassadors will hit the streets meeting with local business leaders to find out their needs and expectations in all aspects of their business; including workforce, facility, sales, capital, suppliers, and quality of life. Participation is open to volunteers from any member firm. Any member interested in getting involved with the group should contact the Chamber at 864-594-5000.
