Government Relations The Government Relations Committee is open to any member interested in the Chamber's advocacy efforts. The Committee will review public policy issues at the local, state, and federal level that impact the Spartanburg business community. In addition, we will hear legislative updates, firsthand, from some of our elected officials at each meeting. Green Evolution Committee The mission of the committee is to facilitate and advocate for the development of programs and services that will need a more sustainable business environment in Spartanburg County. The scope of the committee's work has the potential to cover many aspects of a continuum which ranges from basic steps that could be taken by small business to major community policy decisions. Defense Network Alliance The DNA was founded in 2009 as an alliance of Upstate defense contractors with the purpose of enhancing opportunities for its members by promoting their capabilities. Meetings are held quarterly.
Diversity The Diversity Committee, as an integral part of the Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce, provides a forum for sharing vital information, networking, and fostering professional development for minority and women businesses. It is our mission to help minority and women-owned businesses grow, develop and encourage their participation in all chamber activities. Ambassadors The AMBASSADORS group provides an important public relations service for the organization. Ambassadors make member relations calls to existing chamber members and assist the Membership Department at various events. Participation is open to volunteers from any member firm.
